Hanging out with amazing people who are so passionate about making the world a better place. Favourite city/place to visit which is great for vegans? Stanford Inn at Mendocino, California. It's a vegan, eco resort which grows its own veg and serves it to the guests. Favourite cookbook? The Wicked Healthy Cookbook. Favourite junk food guilty pleasure? Vegan Fried Chicken & Chips from Source Restaurant in York. Favourite vegan restaurant? There's so many great vegan restaurants, but I would say that Crossroads in LA is pretty special. Favourite beverage? Green tea. I drink it by the gallon. Favourite kind of clothing? I'm not one of the cool vegans. I like a shirt and jacket combo, so pretty 'middle-agedy'. Favourite band? Being able to help save animals and the world by eating and creating amazing and healthy food! Favourite city/place to visit which is great for vegans? My hometown, Norwich, is becoming Vegan capital of the UK with so many new and exciting vegan shops and places to eat. But I’d have to say the Berlin has been my favourite place to visit as a vegan so far. Favourite cookbook? The Veganuary 'how to go vegan' book has some fantastic meals in it but i'd say I turn to BOSH on Facebook for my mealspiration. Favourite junk food guilty pleasure? Our pizzas of course - with a huge scoop of garlic vegenaise on top! Second place has to go to Booja Booja's slated caramel ice-cream though… Favourite vegan restaurant or non-vegan restaurant with great vegan options? 222 in Kensington! Hands down. Favourite alcoholic beverage? A pint of Guinness now that it's finally SFV! Favourite vegan fashion/clothing brand or kind of clothing? Cowspiracy is a great conversation starter and has huge impact on the general public too. Favourite hobby? Travelling the world and eating vegan food from every corner of the Earth. Guaranteed most vegan-friendly place on Earth, and never makes those "best cities for vegans" lists. Favourite cookbook? I've never used a recipe in my life - improvising is my way - but I will say my friend Katy Beskow's book The 15-Minute Vegan. It's gorgeous and has lovely, easy-to-follow recipes. Favourite junk food guilty pleasure? Anything with a lot of sugar. Cakes, chocolate, cupcakes, donuts, bring it on. And no guilt at all - life is short and meant to be enjoyed! Terre a Terre in Brighton, La Suite West in London, Hermans in Stockholm, Mantra Raw Vegan in Milan and La Lanterna in Verona. Favourite alcoholic beverage? Any wine. I'm SO not a wine snob. Give me anything you've got, and I will drink it. Favourite vegan fashion/clothing brand or kind of clothing? Unreal Fur for coats, Matt and Nat and Jill Milan for bags, Dauntless for faux leather biker jackets, NR Rapisardi, Beyond Skin and ByBlanch for shoes. And I am certainly forgetting someone! Favourite cruelty-free cosmetics/skincare/makeup brand or product? My friends at EDEN Perfumes in Brighton/London and their fantastic non-toxic, organic, vegan and cruelty-free fragrances. Best vegan beauty brand in the world. Favourite band/singer/musician? How much time have you got? A brief selection: Nirvana, Audioslave, Rise Against, Led Zeppelin, Rage Against the Machine, Orianthi, Pearl Jam, The Runaways, Eminem, Metallica, Conquer Divide, Prophets of Rage, early 30 Seconds to Mars albums.
